Second year of outreach underway
20 December 2013 – At the time of writing this message, a “Carrefour du Dialogue Citoyen” (Space of Citizens’ Dialogue) is about to begin in Tunis. The action carried by three associations is made up of three phases, also reaching the centre and the south of Tunisia and will last through to March 2014 and is mostly funded by the Anna Lindt Foundation.
The design and facilitation of the second phase has been entrusted to the INGO Dialogue Hub coordinator who will also be involved in the third phase of the project. The description of this project in French is available here.
One of the Vice-presidents of the Council of Europe INGO Conference was part of a mission on NGO participation in the decision making process in Moldova in the context of the CoE’s Confidence-building Measures Programme. The INGO Dialogue Toolkit was requested part of the mission’s materials. The Civil Society Division Secretariat subsequently received a request to contribute to the organisation of training courses.
Furthermore, a formal report about the 2013 activities and a 2014 outlook of the Dialogue Toolkit is scheduled for the plenary meeting of 30 January of the INGO Conference.
