Save the Date for World NGO Day

29 January 2022

The Conference of INGOs is planning an important contribution to this year’s World NGO Day, scheduled for Monday 28 February in the afternoon CET. It will be an online event respecting current restrictions, also with the awareness that this allows for the widest possible participation.

This will be the fourth time the Conference of INGOs at the Council of Europe is organizing such an event. Last year, the focus was on “Challenges Facing NGOs in Conflict and Post-Conflict Situations”. Please follow this link if you want to check out the 2021 content.

As for this year watch this space, the access data, title and programme will follow shortly.

World NGO Day was started in 2010 and aims to inspire people to become more actively involved within NGOs and encourage a greater symbiosis between NGOs and both the public and private sector. The universal concept of the World NGO Day is Celebrate, Commemorate and Collaborate the various NGOs around the world, and the people behind them.

World NGO Day is a day for NGOs around the globe to share knowledge and experiences with one another. It aims to educate individuals worldwide on NGOs and their impact. The World NGO Day provides an opportunity to honor and remember NGO founders, employees, volunteers, members and supporters.
